*Hour of the Rose is preceded by two short novellas (from two Romance Anthologies), so technically it's book 3, but it's the first full-length novel of the series.
In fact, the first of the two short novellas, Enchantment, was later re-edited and re-released on it's own as book 6. So, for all intents and purposes, Hour of the Rose is really book 1.
